Cline Cellars

Fred Cline started Cline Cellars back in 1982.  Fred's innovation and experimentation led to producing rich, distinctive Rhone style wines and intense, flavorful Zinfandels that have earned him much critical acclaim.  It is our pleasure to offer tremendous savings on the Cline Cellar wines for the month of March.

Viognier

The Viognier grape comes to us from the Northern Rhone Valley of France.  There are only 2200 acres planted to the grape in California.  It is a full bodied dry white wine that shows big pineapple, peach, apricot flavors that are mixed with citrus and floral notes.  Complement spiced cuisine, vegetarian, poultry and pork dishes with this wine.

"Cashmere"

The "Cashmere" is a take on a traditional Rhone style blend, utilizing the grapes Grenache, Syrah and Mouvedre.  It is a flavorful smooth wine that offers cherry, raspberry and chocolate notes with hints of cracked back pepper and plum.  This wine is very food friendly.  Complement everything from duck and pork to salmon with this wine.

Ancient Vine Zinfandel

Some of the fruit for this wine comes from some of the oldest Zinfandel plantings in the state of California.  These ancient dry-farmed vineyards consistently produce fruit of stunning concentration.  The wine exhibits fat strawberry and raspberry fruit with chocolate and coffee overtones.  Pair this wine with red sauces, grilled meats, BBQ and burgers.
